Earlier this week I put up a free grammar mini on "Showing Whose it is". This new freebie is part 2. It comes complete with an answer key and audio so you can hear everything!
An added activity you can do with both grammar minis (for two or more people) is this:
1. Find several objects (or pictures). You should know how to say them in Spanish.
2. Assign each object to belong to a person. If you only have two people, then divide the objects between you.
3. Put objects into a bag, and have one person pull one out.
4. One person asks:
"Es tu _____?" = Is it your ______? OR
"¿Son tus_____?" = Are they your______?
5. The person answers,
"No, no es mi______." = No, it is not my_____.
"Es su_____." = It is his/her _______.
"No, no son mis______" = No, they are not my______.
"Son sus_______. = They are his/her______.
If it belongs to that person, then he just answers:
"Sí, es mi_____." OR "Sí, son mis_____."
This is great speaking practice. It looks really simple, but you may be surprised at how much thinking it takes. It will give your brain a workout!
