The holidays are a busy time, and I don't know about you, but I really like to simplify my cooking now especially! Sloppy Joe is a quick, easy meal to make. So, I took my regular "American" recipe and added a Mexican flair to it. It actually turned out pretty well!
If you would like to give it a try, here is the recipe:
Brown the ground beef or turkey and drain. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 1/2 hour. That's it!
Serve on hamburger buns with a salad or another side dish. Even add some crumbled "queso fresco" or sliced avocado to top your sandwiches, or melt some cheddar slices over the top!
